NCPTA Receives the NCAE Friend of Education Award
The North Carolina Association of Educators
(NCEA) recognized the work of NCPTA on March
20, 2010 during the NCAE Annual State Convention
in Winston-Salem. NCPTA was presented the 2010
NCAE Friend of Education Award by Sherri
Strickland, NCAE President. This honor was
bestowed on NCPTA “in recognition of its
outstanding support of public education and
Advocacy for the success of all children by
promoting collaboration between families and
educators."
