National PTA® has partnered with NBC News, GreatSchools, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and other Organizations to create the Education Nation Scorecard.

State Superintendent June Atkinson promotes resources available to help students use Lexile® measures to select books well-matched to their individual reading levels.

NC Race to the Top
NC will receive about $400 million in federal Race to the Top grant money. The award will fund continued implementation of Perdue’s Career and College Ready, Set, Go! program.
