School volunteers are the most widely used services and productive function of the PTA. Parents should be made to feel welcome in the school and their support and assistance sought by the administration and teachers. The PTA President and principal should name parent and faculty coordinators to develop a volunteer program that will enhance the school's curriculum, programs, and projects.
